On the ground floor is located the well known Bakery: Diema country bread. There you can get tasty sandwiches and pastries in the morning. The owner-landlord lives in the building and is always accessible. Spend your bike then you can categorize the bike shed or you can easily, and electric, for a half or full day hire less than 200 m from the House. Learn the entire Belgian coast know with the coasts, the tram stop is CCA 200 m. The Delhaize supermarket is 450 m. A family doctor and pharmacist is ca. 300 m. Parking in front of the door is free from 09:00 to 20:00, about to pay day. But on a 250 meters is a completely free parking square.
There is a lot to experience and do in Ostend. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment you have along the beachfront terraces, bikes and go-kart there are for rent and cycle routes to try out. Also it Oostende basketball football square of KVO is walking distance (CCA. 450 m), or skip a ball on the golf course with 9 holes of Wellington Golf. Every Monday from 3 July to 28 August you can horse racing on the Wellington Hippodrome from up close. The municipal swimming pool with indoor and outdoor pool, water slides, jacuzzi and children's pool. Also the Kinepolis is a 10 min. walking distance. The Ostend painter Ensor is buried in the Dunes Church, the Church is well worth a visit. Ostend itself you can't watch next to the Kursaal, this offers a range of musical and cultural activities. Also the cultural center the great Post offers theater, dance, music, and much more. Visit the ship, a three-master Mercator or Amandine, a former Iceland vessel. The free ferry service will take you from the Center to the East Bank, where the fort Napoleon hidden in the dunes. Well worth a visit is the domain Ravesyde: Atlantic wall along many bunkers, by two kilometers open and underground passages, observation posts and guns from World War I and II; and the gone fishing village of Walraversijde Anno 1465.
Located on corner of Seawall and Albertus slope, on the beautiful beach of mariakerke. I live in the same building, making arrival times are very flexible.
